MISSION
Hayashi International has been a B2B company since 2013, sourcing surfing equipment from all over the world and reselling them to over 800 surf shops in Japan. As an experienced surfer and world traveler, Kunio sees some missing pieces in the surfing community in Japan. While continuing the current business, the mission is to help individual surfers and beginners navigate through the surfing world so that they can ride out their own surfing lifestyles.

MEET
KUNIO HAYASHI
As a surfer: He is an extremely skillful surfer with 30+ years of experience. Japan is where he started but he has surfed in places all over the world, America, Indonesia, Mexico, Australia, etc. He spent ten years in San Diego and surfed with many celebrity surfers.
As an entrepreneur: He sells surfing equipments to surf shops and end users. He also has his own line of products, including wetsuits, wetsuits shampoo & conditioner and sunscreen.
As a surfing instructor: fun, caring and observative (the developer of this website can attest to!)
As a chef: BBQ and Nabe (Japanese hotpot) master
As a person: He has a good sense of humor and is humble
Kunio lives in his van when he travels for business in Japan
Friends and guests come to visit when he is in his office in Tsujido.
He surfs with others as a way to build relationships.
